Emerson Borges – Designer graduated from PUC Curitiba, Paraná
Brazil in 1979 and had his Master in Marketing at FAE (Administration
an Economy School) where he has belonged to the board of professors
for 4 years.
He has worked as senior designer for local leading furniture manufactures
such as Placas do Paraná/ Vogue and Oggi as well as major ceramic
tile producers like Incepa, Cidamar and Amanda.
Being partner of ABA – Alvarenga, Borges & Associados Marketing
Consultants has developed important advising jobs for the Government
of Paraná State in Brazil and other notable companies.
As art director of TRIO Comunicação an advertising agency
he as developed major campaigns for IBAMA (Brazilian National Agency
for Nature), Petrobrás (Brazilian State petrol Company) and
floor covering industries amongst others.
His armchair “Folio” is part of permanent collection at
MON – Museum Oscar Niemeyer in Curitiba, Brazil. His other masterpieces
such as “K” and “FLY” have received great recognition
including prizes as “Certificado de Boa forma” from the
Brazilian Furniture Manufactures’ Association”.
Nowadays, as main designer of b²D Design Studio he is working
for major leading companies like Ronconi, Xteel, Comp, Formaplas and
Ma Maison.
